Confidentiality Agreement Disclaimer

The Membership Area is accessible to ArboraNano Members only. Your registration application to the Members Area will only be granted after you or the organization you represent have signed the ArboraNano Network Agreement, and you  have signed the ArboraNano Confidentiality Agreement. If you have not already signed said agreement, please contact us for more information.

Privacy Policy

At ArboraNano, your privacy is important to us. We do not share any personally identifiable information about you with anyone. We will never sell or rent your name, email address, telephone or fax numbers, address, or credit card numbers. We may collect your IP address and general browsing patterns when you visit our site but we only use this anonymous information to help diagnose problems with our server and to assist us with improving arboranano.ca.

Spam Policy

ArboraNano is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers when sending you email communications, including any newsletters. We will not share your email address with anyone.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. 

When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial or health information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors on our site.

ArboraNano complies with all statutory and legal requirements with respect to access to information.

Policy Changes

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most such changes will be minor. Regardless, we will post any Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Policy changes). Each version of this Policy will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date.

Intellectual Property 

You agree that the Service contains proprietary information and material that is owned by ArboraNano and/or its Affiliates and/or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not limited to copyright, and that you will not use such proprietary information or materials in any way whatsoever except for use of the Service in compliance with the terms of this Agreement. No portion of the Service may be reproduced in any form or by any means. You agree not to modify, sell, rent, lease, loan, distribute, resell or create derivative works based on the Service, in any manner, and you shall not exploit the Service in any unauthorized way whatsoever.

Termination

If you fail, or if ArboraNano has reasonable grounds to suspect that you have failed, to comply with any of the provisions of this Agreement ArboraNano may, at its sole discretion, without notice to you: (i) terminate this Agreement and/or your Account; and/or (ii) preclude access to the Service (or any part thereof).

Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, ArboraNano reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate access to the Service, to content, or to any other element forming part of the Service, at any time without prior notice and without liability. ArboraNano may also implement any restrictions or limitations on the use of or access to the Service, without notice and liability. ArboraNano reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) at any time with or without notice to you, and ArboraNano will not be liable to you or to any third party should it exercise such rights.

Enforcement 

ArboraNano reserves the right to take steps ArboraNano believes are reasonably necessary or appropriate to enforce and/or verify compliance with any part of this Agreement (including but not limited to ArboraNano’s right to cooperate with any legal process relating to your use of the Service, and/or a third party claim that your use of the Service is unlawful and/or infringes such third party’s rights).

Not Responsible for Third–Party Materials or Websites

Certain content and information available via the Service may include elements or materials from third parties. ArboraNano may provide links to certain third party websites. You acknowledge and agree that ArboraNano is not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of any such third–party material or websites. ArboraNano does not warrant or endorse and does not assume and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third–party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third parties. Links to other websites are provided solely as a convenience to you, without any representation or warranty whatsoever. You agree that you will not use any third&8211party materials in a manner that would infringe or violate the rights of any other party, and that ArboraNano is not responsible for any such usage by you.
