ArboraNano is the Canadian Forest NanoProducts Network conceived by FPInnovations and NanoQuébec. An important component in the strategy of the Canadian forest-products industry, ArboraNano will create new business opportunities for the Canadian economy by using Canada’s renewable forest resources to manufacture new products with superior performance attributes.

This Business-Led Network of Centres of Excellence (BL-NCE) has assembled an unusual mix of partners from industries that have not conventionally collaborated together in the past, to create a multi-industry and multi-disciplinary R&D team. ArboraNano involves the collaboration of the forest sector manufacturing industry, the aerospace, automotive, medical, composites, coatings and chemical industries along with the support and resources of various universities and research institutes.
